Mark these days in your calendar: CloudLand 2025 will take place from July 1 to 4, 2025 at Heide Park Soltau.
You can look forward to exciting presentations, interactive workshops and numerous networking opportunities. Together we are shaping the future of cloud technology – be there and experience how the clouds are rising higher and higher!
The numerous DCNC user groups from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will bring the themes of the festival – Cloud Native Software Engineering, Architecture, AI & ML, DevOps, Public Cloud and more – to life, present international experts and deliberately focus on unconventional formats that both convey the exponentially growing knowledge on the major topic of the cloud and enable festival visitors to participate.

Cloud Native Software Engineering
Cloud Native Software Engineering is a methodology for building and running scalable applications specifically designed to take advantage of the flexibility of the cloud, distributed systems and managed services, using tools such as containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. At CloudLand, we take a close look at this main topic.

Architecture
Cloud Native in itself is an architectural approach consisting of microservices, containers, CI/CD and DevOps. Nevertheless, it is important to take a deeper look at the architecture: What are important patterns in a microservice architecture? How do we deal with batches in a transformation to cloud native, for example? What is behind the hexagonal architecture? What does a look into the future tell us? What do I need to consider when I introduce serverless and/or reactive as paradigms into my architecture? What does the view into the future tell us?

AI & ML
Dive into the world of artificial intelligence and machine learning – technologies that turn data into decisions and machines into learning problem solvers. The combination of AI and ML with cloud technologies enables companies to develop, deploy and scale powerful solutions quickly and cost-effectively. We are making this extremely interesting topic heard at CloudLand.

Data & BI
The cloud makes data management and business intelligence more powerful, accessible and future-proof for companies of all sizes and industries. Data and reports are accessible from anywhere, increasing the efficiency of international teams. With immediately available data and analyses, companies receive precise answers in the shortest possible time. We give you space for this topic.

DevOps

Public Cloud
The best-known and largest public cloud providers are clearly AWS, GCP and Azure. They have established themselves in recent years and offer their services reliably. We take a closer look at them and show which services make sense for whom. They now offer far more than just an operating system instance (Infrastructure-as-a-Service). We try to find out where the providers differ and how to avoid vendor lock-in as far as possible.

Security & Compliance
Security and compliance in a cloud native environment are critical to protecting data and applications from threats and meeting regulatory requirements. Integrated security solutions, such as automated policies and zero-trust architectures, embed protection into development and operational processes. Cloud native approaches not only enable maximum agility, but also proactive protection in a dynamic IT environment.

Organization & Culture
A cloud native organization relies on agile structures and a collaborative corporate culture to drive innovation faster. DevOps principles, interdisciplinary teams and a "fail fast" approach promote continuous learning and efficient implementation of new ideas. This creates a way of working that harmoniously combines technology, people and processes and successfully shapes the digital transformation.

Sovereign Cloud
The Sovereign Cloud combines the agility of cloud native technologies with adherence to strict data protection and compliance requirements. It offers companies the opportunity to store and process sensitive data securely and in compliance with the law in regional data centers. With a sovereign cloud, you combine the latest innovations with maximum control and transparency over your data.

Compute, Storage & Network
Compute, storage and network form the technological foundation for cloud native applications and enable maximum scalability and efficiency. Dynamic computing resources, flexible storage systems and software-defined networks create an infrastructure that adapts seamlessly to the requirements of modern workloads. This combination ensures that companies can develop innovations faster while guaranteeing performance and reliability.
